Description
PREPARATION
Like the other 5 in the series, this rum also went through a maturation period of a total of 15 long years. It was first matured for 7 years in old American oak bourbon barrels and then refined, what is called "double aging", 8 years in selected oak barrels in which ruby red port wines were previously stored. These are French oak barrels that come from a single estate in the Porto region, in the Douro Valley, in Portugal.TASTING

An explosion of exotic spices that fades into a long, smooth and silky aftertaste of nuts and chocolate.
