Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: Premier and Grand Cru of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Starting in 1911, when the vineyard classification was made official, Raymond Duval-Leroy, with the desire to pay tribute to his ancestors, created an exceptional wine. He was the first to work on a Champagne that would bring together Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties selected only from villages classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru in the Grande Vallee de la Marne, Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions. During the first tastings, Raymond Duval-Leroy distinguished an aroma of white flowers that evokes the aroma of the “wine flower” of June. This led to the birth of Duval-Leroy Fleur de Champagne Brut Premier Cru.
TASTING
View: Bright color and fine bubbles.
Nose: Characteristic vine flower aromas of the Duval-Leroy property.
Mouth: In the mouth it perfectly combines a balance of taste and a refined character of the breed. Intense aromas of fruits with a typical mineral character.
