Unlike many sweet Latin American rums, Doorly's 5 Years represents the classic Barbados style: drier, more balanced, and focused on distillation and the barrel than on added sweetness. It is an excellent gateway to the universe of Foursquare and traditional Barbadian rums.

Winemaking
It is made from cane molasses and combines pot still and column still rums to achieve balance between body and smoothness. Aged for 5 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels under the tropical climate of Barbados.
Tasting notes
View:
Bright golden amber color, with copper and orange reflections. Clean and bright in the glass.
Nose:
Aromas of vanilla, caramel and orange peel. Notes of toasted coconut and ripe tropical fruit.
Mouth:
Balanced and smooth. Flavors of vanilla, honey and caramel. Notes of butter and spicy oak. Its finish is dry and leaves hints of orange peel and vanilla.
