PREPARATION
Dewar's Japanese Smooth is an 8-year-old, double-aged Scotch whiskey that has been finished in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels for six months. This rich, full-bodied whiskey incorporates a unique finishing process into Dewar's double-aged blend, creating a smooth, approachable final product with surprisingly different nuances.

Nose:
It features subtle floral notes of honey and heather along with complex aromas of sandalwood.
Mouth:
Cinnamon spice on the palate, a result of the porous qualities of the rare 200-year-old variety of Mizunara oak, also known as "water oak."
