PREPARATION
The Ron Contrabando Añejo is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic from the best sugar canes and is aged using the Solera system for 5 years in American and French oak barrels that have contained cognac, bourbon and sherry. Made by the renowned Oliver&Oliver house. Founded in the mid-19th century by the Majorcan of Spanish origin Juanillo Oliver, it has a long history and recognized international prestige in the production of high-quality rums thanks to its mother rums and long aging. Its name is due to the way this rum entered Spain, because in 1998 the Spanish notary Fernando de Mora, upon being impressed by the sweet flavor and complex body of this rum, decided to put some unlabeled bottles of this rum in his suitcase and without passing customs control.

Nose: Soft aroma of vanilla, fresh coconut and tropical fruits in perfect blend with toasted and balsamic notes provided by its long aging through the Solera system in American and French oak barrels.
Mouth: Perfect harmony of toasted and balsamic notes provided by the noble woods of the barrels where it rests for aging.
