Description
Winemaking
The Vaudon XO Fins Bois cognac is made with Ugni Blanc grapes. The elegance of Premier Cru is deliciously combined with the fruitiest and sweetest spirit of Fins Bois. It is a delicate and sweet cognac, with a typical Fins Bois flavor. Aged in new 350 liter Limousin oak barrels after double distillation on lees. The Vaudon family's history dates back to 1771 and has exceptional cognacs in its collection such as the 1811 Vintage, which won a gold medal at the 1913 fair. It uses an ancient style of distillation on the lees, which gives all the cognacs they produce a rich and elegant character.
Tasting notes
View: Golden color.
Nose: Interesting and pleasant aromas, delicate with pleasant notes of violets, mango, walnuts and candied orange peel. It has a delicate floral bouquet with a subtle and very seductive fruity background.
Mouth: The attack is surprisingly soft and silky, the exotic notes are very present and leave a pleasant and long aftertaste. This XO cognac is the purity of Fin Bois brandy aged in oak barrels.
