Among the dazzling parties and theatrical attractions of Broadway, it became a place of honor among New York's high society. But in 1920 came prohibition, which cut short the reign of this 25-year-old Scotch whiskey. In 2007, Chivas brought back this extraordinary blend and recreated the iconic flavors and textures of the original luxury whiskey. PREPARATION
The Chivas Regal 25 Years Whiskey is made from the most exclusive 25-year-old Scotch whiskeys. Each drop is meticulously mixed in minuscule quantities and then they assess the quality before blending all the barrels using a double check, where each barrel is sniffed individually before blending. In this way they ensure that they revive the delicate intensity and subtle texture that made the original Chivas 25 famous at the beginning of the 20th century. This is the same method with which the original batches of Chivas 25 were made when it was created in the early 1900s. Each and every barrel used for Chivas 25 has been hand-selected and individually tasted to ensure an intense and rewarding final blend.
TASTING
View: Golden color.
Nose: Fruity aroma, it gives off suggestive aromas of orange and peach, followed by notes of marzipan and dried fruits.
Mouth: Intense hints of orange chocolate with an unctuous creaminess. Smooth, rounded and luxuriously long finish.
