Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Château Côte Puyblanquet 2016 red wine is made through traditional vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and remains for 18 months partly in concrete tanks and partly in new barrels. Château Côte Puyblanquet is located on the clay and limestone slopes and plateaus of the south of the Saint-Emilion region. Daniel Bertoni acquired the 10-hectare vineyard in 1955. It is currently managed by his son Christian.
TASTING
View: Beautiful deep ruby red color.
Nose: The nose evokes vanilla and spices with an expression of black fruit, which is also present on the palate.
Mouth: Lots of substance, with ripe tannins, pleasant softness and well-integrated wood, forming a harmonious whole.
