PREPARATION
Cardhu Amber Rock Scotch Whiskey is double matured in toasted American oak barrels, resulting in a full-bodied whiskey packed with vanilla, citrus and oak notes. Cardhu, formerly Cardow, is the Speyside home of Johnnie Walker and comes from one of Speyside's oldest distilleries, located high in the hills on the north side of the Spey Valley with beautiful views to the south and close to the River Spey. Known for its smooth and sweet single malt whiskey, the story of Cardhu's rise to fame is largely told in the story of two determined women who were members of the founding family: Helen and Elizabeth Cumming, they were valued for their determination, skill, generosity and loyalty to the community, forever defining Cardhu as a whiskey with heart. This was the first distillery to partner with John Walker & Sons, and for 200 years, the elegant, soft and sensual character of Cardhu has been at the center of celebrations shared around the world.
