PREPARATION
Bluecoat Barrel Reserve is made with 100% organic botanicals, using an 18th century barrel finishing process, Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin is produced by aging Bluecoat American Dry Gin for a minimum of twelve months, providing a unique, full and complex spirit. The recipe for Bluecoat American Dry Gin is a secret, what is known is that the distillation process consists of slow heating, which lasts 10 hours, in order to select only the purest and most aromatic parts. The gin is distilled 5 times in a handmade copper still and in small batches and then diluted with filtered water three times It is named after the uniform used by armed militias during the American Revolution.
