PREPARATION
Black Bush Irish Whiskey combines an exceptionally high amount of malted barley blended with a sweet, small grain whiskey matured in vintage Oloroso sherry and bourbon barrels. Bushmills is home to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Official records date back to 1608, when the area obtained its license to distill. More than 400 years later, whiskey is still made at Bushmills, thanks to the experience and craft passed down from generation to generation. Born on the north coast of Ireland, the water used to make its whiskeys is extracted from the River Bush, which flows over basaltic rock beds.
