Description
PREPARATION
In 1820 James Burrough created the drink from the perfect mixture of a selection of the finest herbs and a grain distillate of the highest quality. And its secret lies, of course, in the recipe, jealously guarded by the master distiller and passed on only to his successor in office. In fact, the complexity of the recipe for Beefeater gin gives it a multidimensional character and, at the same time, balanced and complete.
Looking for a name for his gin that represented the heart and whole body, Burrough found inspiration in the "Beefeaters", the guards who guard the Tower of London. The first Beefeater distillery was founded on the banks of the River Thames and production was moved to Kennington in 1958 due to the need for a larger and better distillery. Today it is still produced there. Beefeater is the only English gin (London Dry Gin) produced in London.
CATA
View: Platinum white color.
Nose: Subtle and citrus aroma with botanical elements, orange and lemon peels, coriander and almonds.
Mouth: Fruity nuances of pear, fresh and herbal notes. The entry on the palate is clear and definitive. Dry and botanically balanced, its finish is a juniper bomb.
