Auchentoshan Virgin Oak is distilled three times, a procedure that no other Scottish distillery performs, and the story of Auchentoshan is about Distilling Different to create a Lowlands whiskey. This process takes more time and money to carry out, but it is worth it. It has an innovative production process, since it is stored in new oak barrels.
TASTING
View:
Amber color.
Nose:
Sweet, with notes of wood, caramel, vanilla and hints of fruit.
Mouth:
Very spicy, with citrus fruits and chocolate. Persistent finish.
