PREPARATION

Ardmore 12 Years Port Wood Finish was matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in European Port-Wood barrels, resulting in a light, sweet liquid with a balance of fruity and smoky notes. Unchill filtered and aged for 12 years, this ruby ​​gold single malt has been made using the same traditional distillation methods for 100 years.

Nose:

Initial nose of strawberries and summer fruits with a touch of pepper. Underlying notes of cinnamon and burnt orange spices. With water, the rich fruit aromas of red apple and cranberry intensify, accompanied by sweet honey and subtle spicy wood notes.  

Mouth:

Sweet red apple and honey with the subtlest touch of charcoal smoke. Initially smooth with a long, persistent finish that culminates in Ardmore's characteristic dryness.
