PREPARATION
The unique sweet and sour flavor of Aperol derives from a secret and original recipe, which has remained authentic over time as a result of hard work of experimentation. It is made from an infusion of selected primary components including oranges, herbs and roots in a perfectly balanced combination. Aperol originated in 1919 in Padua, it was a product of the Barbieri brothers who launched the revolutionary idea of an aperitif with an alcohol content of only 11 percent. From then until today, Aperol's popularity has grown continuously, thanks to its fresh, versatile taste and its ability to mix with so many other drinks. Aperol entered the Campari Group portfolio in 2003, reaching new records of popularity and diffusion.
TASTING
View: Bright orange color.
Nose: Slightly alcoholic, with a touch of orange with attractive complex herbal aromas harmonized with a touch of vanilla.
Mouth: Unique flavor. Intense orange flavor with herbal and woody body notes, pleasantly bittersweet and salty. Velvety and round texture, with persistent hints of orange and wood. Aftertaste with a long and pleasant typical herbaceous bitterness.
