Amrut Portonova Single Malt 70cl. Case
Its name is apt, as there is a city called Parangipettai (Portonovo) on the east coast of India, in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, a territory that was under Portuguese control from the 16th to the 18th century. This single malt whiskey is exotic and vibrant on both the nose and palate, with abundant notes of raisins, vanilla, cherry liqueur and spices. The result is an extraordinary smoothness in the finish.

Description
PREPARATION
Amrut Portonova is a very interesting Indian whiskey from Amrut, an unpeated, aged in new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels, before being transferred to port pipes, and then returned to ex-bourbon barrels. It combines the traditional flavors of vanilla and coconut with the rich fruit expected from a port cask for an interesting blend.
TASTING

Nose:
It presents aromas of fruit, chocolate with syrup, caramel and a touch of coconut, pepper, allspice and red berries.
Mouth:
Fruity and intense palate with flavors of tropical fruits, red currant jelly, baked bananas and cinnamon. It has a long and fruity finish, with notes of blueberry
