PREPARATION

Alfred Giraud Voyage is a blend of two French single malts, one that was aged in Sauternes wine barrels and another that was aged in French Robinia barrels. The perfect balance is then achieved by blending the two single malts at a precise time which continue to age in cognac casks before bottling. Sauternes barrels give notes of custard, sweet grapes and acacia honey. Robinia, a powerful wood that requires skill to balance, is rarely used in whiskey. Gives notes of white flower. This blend reveals the flavors of France and showcases the bold spirit of Alfred Giraud French single malt whiskey. Nose:

White flower, custard and honey, balanced with black currants and ripe grapes.

Mouth:

Soft and round with a sophisticated sweetness. Ripe sweet grape, fresh flower and acacia honey are balanced with bold structure. Finish with luxurious mouthfeel, sweet floral complexity with a slight presence of wood on the finish.
