Description
PREPARATION
Albertson whiskey is made in Scotland from a mixture of malt and grain whiskeys, with a minimum aging of 5 years. The origin of this whiskey dates back more than two centuries when John Bulloch, a corn merchant, opened his own distillery in Dunbantonshire. After some back and forth, the company merged with D. Lade & Co. and the name became Bulloch Lade & Co. Unfortunately the company was one of many in Scotland that did not survive the First War and in 1920 declared bankruptcy. But although the distillery has changed ownership, its spirit continues to live on in its recipes, like Albertson whiskey.
TASTING
View: Amber color.
Nose: Rich aromas of vanilla with delicate notes of grapes and nuts.
Mouth: Slightly warm and voluminous. Strong, with notes of dried fruits. Long and intense finish.
