Absolut Drop of Love Vodka is made in southern Sweden, when Lars Olsson Smith introduced continuous distillation and began producing a very pure vodka, called Absolut Rent Brännvin. It was a vodka that had been distilled hundreds of times and was only based on natural ingredients, water and winter wheat from Åhus, the creator's hometown. Although born in 1979 in New York. It is made exclusively from natural ingredients: water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus, protected against impurities. Winter wheat is distinguished from other crops in that it is planted in the fall and harvested the following fall, meanwhile it grows under the Swedish snow, which develops a hard grain.
