ELABORATION
It is not cold-filtered. This filtration process keeps all its character and sensory richness intact, especially in flavor, as it particularly preserves the fatty acids of the distillate.
Extra maturation in sherry barrels: maturation of the first 13 years in American white oak barrels and subsequent 2-year refining in sherry barrels.
TASTING
Appearance: Reddish amber color.
Nose: Oak charcoal and curdled honey pave the way for waves of floral malt, chocolate raisins, gooseberry scones, and caramel
Palate: Smooth, velvety, warm, and sweet. Delicious sherry sweetness with notes of Smyrna raisins, hints of orange, nuts, and caramel, combining to create a complex spiced flavor. Long and pleasing finish with lingering hints of sweet oranges and chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
