Riedel's Ouverture glasses are perfect for those who appreciate good wine at a reasonable price.
The edges are "cut", allowing the wine to flow smoothly onto the tongue rather than being "rolled", which obstructs the smooth flow of the wine and accentuates the acidity and harshness.
Care:- Dishwasher safe.
- To avoid stains: Use soft water (low in minerals).
- To avoid scratches: Avoid contact of the glass with other glass or metals. If possible, use a glass rack.
- To remove stains: Use white vinegar.
- If you wash by hand: Use warm water, detergent and rinse carefully.
- To polish, use microfiber cloths: Hold the cup by the base. Use your left hand to cradle the bowl and polish with your right hand. Never twist the base and bowl.
- Storage: Avoid storing glass in kitchen cabinets that have strong aromas that carry over to the glass.
- Wash microfiber polishing cloths at boiling temperature (to kill bacteria) with odorless soap. They must be machine washed without fabric softener at a minimum of 75° C.
